What’s going to happen when you don’t think of your business as a digital marketing service? What do you do online for your company? Did you know that every single day that we do not post online, we are not sharing our products and services to our clients? That we are not sharing to our potential customers? You are doing them a disservice by not showing them what you can do for them.

And you are probably saying, “Toni, I’m not going to be sitting in front of that camera.” Or “Toni, you are not taking a photo of me!” Well, you really should.

Statistics alone show that you have to have your company and profile branded. Simply put, having an online service is paramount to your company.

When I was growing up, you would not be able to get a photo of me at all! If somebody were to hold a camera in front of me, I would run screaming. No joke. I was petrified of the camera. I actually still am to this day. I’m always wondering, “Do I look good? Is my make up okay? Are people going to be judging my clothes? Is my hair nice?”

However, when I became a business owner, I took a hold of myself. I am not worried anymore of what other people think of me or of how I look like. I put my hair up in a ponytail, fringe out, brushed, and that’s about it. I don’t dwell on thinking if they think I look ugly or not shiny or polished enough. Why? Because this is me.

How do you go to work everyday?

I’m pretty sure that you’re working a hell of a lot of hours and you can’t be stopped to check if you still look perfect. If you do, kudos to you. But in all seriousness, I just want you to start getting your brand out there.

Just start doing it – even if you’re not the one in front of the camera. Get one of your employees to do it. I’m sure there is somebody in your division that would be more that happy to be pictures and videos for your company.

So, take your photos and start making those videos. Get your brand out there.
